Nickelback have been the butt of many jokes over the years. At one point, there was even a change.org petition to ban them from playing the superbowl halftime show signed by over 55,000 people. Now, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has taken a jab at the band.
In a video revealing his latest piece of technology called “Jarvis” that syncs your house to your phone, Zuckerberg asked the server to “play us some good Nickelback songs.” Jarvis responded with, “I’m sorry, Mark. I’m afraid I can’t do that. There are no good Nickelback songs.” To add insult to injury, Zuckerberg replied that it was “a test for the server”.
Avril Lavigne, who was briefly married to Nickelback’s Chad Kroeger, fired back at Zuckerberg on her twitter:
Do you agree with Avril? Is the “Nickelback sucks” joke worn out? Let us know in the comments
